Gibson no longer produces any lefty Explorers, this is your chance to speak out... Lefty guitar players need to unite and let them know that we are part of the buying public! UPDATE: I have contacted Gibson customer service with my petition containing 217 names of interested lefty's on March 1st, 2009. Their response was that the information would be forwarded to the appropriate parties, and thank you for your interest in left handed Explorers. In the two weeks following my contact, I have heard nothing back from them. Is it in the works? I guess we'll have to wait and see. The last time I contacted them they gave me a cold response saying there was no market for left-handed guitars and that it wasn't worth their effort to retool the machinery to produce lefty's. So I guess the most recent response sounds like an improvement and is all we could ask for... I will keep everyone updated if anything changes.
