Attention left handed guitarists!
|
|
Gibson no longer produces any lefty Explorers, this is your chance to speak out...
Lefty guitar players need to unite and let them know that we are part of the buying public! LAST UPDATE: I have contacted Gibson customer service with my petition containing 217 names of interested lefty's on March 1st, 2009. Their response was that the information would be forwarded to the appropriate parties, and thank you for your interest in left handed Explorers. In the year following my contact, I have heard nothing back from them. Is it in the works? I guess we'll have to wait and see. The last time I contacted them they gave me a cold response saying there was no market for left-handed guitars and that it wasn't worth their effort to retool the machinery to produce lefty's. So I guess the most recent response sounds like an improvement and is all we could ask for... I will keep everyone updated if anything changes. We are not accepting any more names at this time... Thanks to those who signed the petition in the past! Scroll Down and Comment on the Lack of Left Hand Gibson Guitars or Go back to our Left Handed Explorer Page |

| Message: I need one... white would be nice also! Hell it would even be nice to have a few more options on the current SG and Les Paul without spending 3500+. Us lefties really get shafted by guitar manufacturers. Many guitars (other than custom) these days aren't hand made anyway. I can't see how it could be that difficult to make a few lefty runs every now and then, damn. |

| Message: I spent lot of time searching of any left handed explorer, but there isn't any chance to get one. It would be great if Gibson change there minds and start a production of left handed. there are lot of left handed guitarist that are big James Hetfield fans and would love to have same guitar as he has. |

| Message: it is pretty slack, com'on Gibson you're a famous world wide brand of guitars. and you can't even make lefty's, just think if you all were lefty's like us, loved gibson guitars like us, and no one would give you a fare go. you'd be pretty pissed, so just here us out and help us restore the LEFT-HANDED Gibson Explorers. |
