I can also visualize Phil Collin of Def Leppard and his Explorer shaped Ibanez Destroyer. Who else has performed live with a Gibson Explorer or reasonable facsimile?

This site is all about the Gibson Explorer as well many other brands that have attempted to imitate it. I am left handed and I was in search of a Gibson Explorer. Of course, I took to the internet and realized there were none to be found. So I started up the site with the intention of compiling information on the Explorer. The website continues to grow as time goes on. Ultimately I'd like to see Gibson start production of the Explorer in a left handed version for southpaws like myself but I must admit, I have been enjoying all the information and pictures that were submitted for the right hand versions also.
